CAPE KIWANDA

Cape Kiwanda is part of the Three Capes Scenic Route (along with Cape Meares and Cape Lookout). Kiwanda is the smallest of the three, but it's one of the best places to experience spectacular wave action. Pacific City is the home of the Pacific Dory Fleet. South of Cape Kiwanda is the dory boat launching area. North of Cape Kiwanda to Tierra Del Mar is a stretch of beach popular with picnickers. Kiwanda provides great hang gliding and kite flying opportunities.

CAPE MEARES LIGHTHOUSE

Cape Meares State Scenic Viewpoint is located 10 miles west of Tillamook, Oregon on the north end of the beautiful Three Capes Scenic Route. The park is open daily, throughout the year, from 7 am to dusk with no day use fee. The trail head to the Big Spruce, Oregon's largest Sitka Spruce, is located near at the entrance. Features within the park include Cape Meares Lighthouse, an informational kiosk, interesting viewpoints where visitors can view off-shore rocks for native birds, whale migration, and more.

Ever wonder what makes cheddar sharp versus extra sharp? Or how much milk a cow produces? What about how ice cream is made? You.ll find answers to these questions and more on your self-guided Factory tour, with interactive kiosks, viewing windows, videos and lots of fun stops along the way.

CAPE LOOKOUT STATE PARK

Through the scenic Wilson River pass, along the way, stop and enjoy waterfalls, scenic views and some great fishing.A popular day-use area, Cape Lookout is located on a sand spit between Netarts Bay and the ocean, giving you a terrific view of the ocean with easy access to the beach. Beachcombing is popular here, and the park is reputedly a good place to find glass floats. More than eight miles of hiking and walking trails wind through a lush old-growth forest.

See one of America's finest collections of over 30 magnificently restored warbirds including our P-38 Lightning, F4U-Corsair, P51-Mustang, PBY Catalina and SBD Dauntless dive bomber.
